UPDATE 1/24/18: A free pattern is now available for this bracelet and the new name for this pattern is "Lizbeth Band". Visit THIS post to download the free pattern.
You can get the free Loretta Earring pattern by Eva Kovács HERE.
I made a few changes to the original pattern for my Deco version. Here are the beads that I used:
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki Duracoat Galvanized "Pewter" (4222)
- 4mm pearls "Light Bronze - HX17/39" (Beads One)
- SuperDuo beads "Opaque Baby Blue Stardust"
Bravo! Good job. The earrings coordinate nicely without being completely matchy/matchy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanie. I know what you mean about "matchy/matchy". As long as the colors are the same, I just try to go with similar shapes when matching earrings with my bracelets. Or, if I do use the same motif, I usually change or add something a little different to the earrings.
DeleteI made a bracelet tonight using Teejay's "Tallulah Tila" pattern but without some of the netting. I'll try to take a picture of it soon so that I can post it here.
I got a few goodies from Aura Crystals in the mail today. I got some Jet Picasso Tilas and some Metallic Dark Bronze regular and Half Tila beads. I really like the Matte Bronze Tilas but I'm looking forward to trying out the shiny ones. I really need some ideas for the Half Tilas though. There are very few patterns for those yet.
Jeanie Callaghan took the words right out of my mouth!
ReplyDeleteI would like to know where you get the inspiration (ideas) for all of the beautiful work that you do?
ReplyDeleteBy browsing the internet but mostly on Pinterest.
Deletewhere can I find the instructions for the bracelet
ReplyDeleteThere is no published pattern for it. It's a variation of Deborah Roberti's "Bobble Bangles" pattern.
DeleteThank you, Linda. I purchased the instructions for the Bobble Bangles. However, I am not savvy enough to figure how you modified it to create your beautiful bracelet. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
DeleteSusan, think of each SuperDuo bead like a pair of round beads that Deb's pattern calls for. You basically go through one of the holes in each SuperDuo as you work your way down one side of the bracelet and then go through the second hole on the way back the other way. I did change the ends of my Duo Bobble Bands though so they're quite a bit different than the way Deb did hers.
DeleteWould love to get the pattern to this set, my friend want me to make this for her wedding party.
ReplyDeleteAs I said in a previous comment, there is no bracelet pattern. You can buy the earring pattern from the Etsy shop mentioned in my post.

ReplyDeleteI downloads the pattern you subjected by I still have one question which or where did you use the superduo bead. Where is the seed bead did you add it? In the pattern where did you replace the seed bead with superduo bead
I'm sorry, Wanda, but I don't understand your question. Are you talking about the earrings or the bracelet?
DeleteI'm talking about the bracelet. I can't get the link to the earring to translate to English so I can read it. When did you add the superduo beads? At what place did you use them. If the pattern calls for 4 seed beads, where did you replace a seed bead for a superduo bead? (At what place did you replace it. #2, 3, ?
ReplyDeleteI just updated the link to the earring pattern. It's for sale in her Etsy shop and no longer free.
DeleteFor the bracelet, you replace the two inner round beads in Deb's pattern with a SuperDuo. The SuperDuo counts as two beads. The seed beads remain the same as directed in Deb's pattern but there are some differences between her method of adding them and the way that I do it. I also attach my clasp in an entirely different manner.
sorry for all the questions. I have a bride that love this bracelet and wants me to make some for her wedding. I'm trying to get the pattern to the whole set so I could make her happy. So all the instruction that I could get would be very grateful. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but Deb Roberti has asked me not to publish this pattern because it's so similar to hers. I must honor her request.
