TALLULAH TILA BRACELET |
Surprise! Sorry for teasing you by posting so many of these bracelets over the past week or so when there was no pattern available to make them. Now you can make your own with this free pattern. The pattern was designed by my friend Teejay. I wrote up the tutorial and added the photos for making the original version and also a version without the extra embellishment. The pattern explains how to make both versions.
Once again I've made two versions of the pattern available for download; a text-only version and a fully illustrated version. Feel free to download them both. I've done this so that you can save paper and ink if you like.
You can get the bead information for the two bracelets in the photos HERE and HERE.

NOTE: I don't mind if you sell the projects that you make with our patterns, but please mention that you got the pattern from Linda's Crafty Inspirations. Please contact me for information about teaching this or any of our patterns in a class.
Below are the two original bracelets that Teejay sent me the Christmas before last:
Thank you Linda! It's a beautiful bracelet and I can't wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
DeleteThank you for taking the time to write (and to photograph) the directions. a BIG thank you for sharing, very generous!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Linda. This bracelet is beautiful. Greetings from Poland
ReplyDeleteHello from Texas. I'm glad you like the pattern.
DeleteThis is so beautiful & I love semi precious jewellery and this is such a lovely design. I can't see myself being able to make it personally, but I'm glad I came upon your designs.
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you for the beautiful patterns! I was wondering if you could tell me what the exact colors are in the silver and green bracelet above. At least that what it looks like on my monitor!!
ReplyDeleteIt's well-hidden in my post above but I did give the link to my post about that bracelet. HERE is the link. I list the colors in that post.
DeleteThe seed beads are silver (pewter) and the Tilas are a blue gray color rather than green. They look a more blue in real life than in the photo.
DeleteThank you for sharing your patterns with us. It is very kind of you.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Jane. It's my pleasure.
DeleteI have enjoyed your tutorials for quite some time and wanted to let you know how appreciative I am of them all. Your diagrams are so clear and concise, especially for a beginner. I have made several of your patterns and love them all.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lanie.
DeleteI am a beginner and can't wait to make some of your designs. Would a Czechmates Tile bead work in place of the tila on the Tallulah bracelet? I have already bought several colors of the tiles and would love to use them in this if they will work. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan. I haven't tried them but I have my pattern handy to try something else so I'll see if the CzechMates work and get back to you. They are larger than the Tila beads so it might require adding some extra seed beads.
DeleteI'm sorry to tell you that CzechMates tiles won't work with Tallulah. They're so much larger than Tilas that the thread shows where it goes around the corners of the tiles. They're just not a good fit.
DeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteI just want to thank you for sharing your designs. I just tried to make this bracelet and was becoming more frustrated as I went along. Well guess what? I was trying to use CzechMates tiles. I'm so glad that I stopped and read all the comments and you explained that they won't work. I thought I was doing something wrong. Thank you again! I love all your patterns.
Hi Victoria. I'm sorry that you ran into trouble but I'm glad to hear that you sorted it out. There are some patterns that do work quite well with either Tilas or CzechMates but this isn't one of them.
DeleteLinda, how many tilas are needed. It does not state how many are needed. It makes a big difference when buying. Other beads too.. need to say how much. I cannot make it until I know how many tilas are used. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI count 12 Tila beads in the bracelets above. That's for a 6-inch wrist size. You may need to add another 2-6 of them for larger sizes. There are 11 SuperDuos in the bracelets above. This pattern is nice in that it doesn't use a lot of beads.
DeleteHi, was hoping to get your pattern but the link no longer works. Can you help with that? Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI just tested both links and they are working.
