I also came up with an earring variation that combines this pattern with another one of my free earring patterns. I will show it to you and explain how to make it next week as well.

Lovely! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda--I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble working with this pattern--and not exactly the pattern, but the thread path. I have broken two needles at the point after I have added the second set of 8/0 beads and trying to get through the size 11/0 again. Any suggestions? These are really cute, and I'd like to finish a pair.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. I'm posting your comment even though we've been in contact by email. I wanted everyone to see this in case others are having the same issue. As I mentioned in my email, I will do some testing with another brand of size 12 needle to see if that's the cause of the problem.
DeleteDo you have a FB page? I love your work!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. I do have a Facebook page but I only post there for friends and family. All of my beadwork is posted here and on Pinterest.
DeleteHi, I adore these but unfortunately cant get honeycomb beads in Slovakia...do you think that perhaps another bead could be used instead?
ReplyDeleteAre you sure that you can't get them there? You are very close to the Czech Republic where they make these beads. You could perhaps try Candy beads, Silky beads or other 2-hole beads in a similar size. My "Silky Deco Earrings" are very similar to these. The pattern is posted HERE.
