  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457D)
  • SuperDuo beads "Metallic Suede Purple"
  • SuperDuo beads "Metallic Suede Gold"

After teasing you by blogging for several days about my "Bethany" adaptation of Beth Clark's "Beth Duo Earrings" pattern, I'm very happy to tell you that Beth has given me the okay to post my version as a free pattern. I should warn you though that there are no diagrams in the tutorial, only the instructions. That's because I had originally typed it up for my own use and I didn't need illustrations. If I have a chance sometime, I might add some illustrations to the tutorial and will update the file at that time, if I do.

    1. Hi Ludmila. Sorry for taking so long to reply. I just found out this morning that Blogger hasn't been notifying us by email when we have new comments. I'm glad to hear that I have inspired you to learn beading.

  8. Hiya, I just found someone on etsy that is selling these earrings and another pair that you made for quite a bit of money. I think that I read somewhere on your blog that you ask people to mention you as the original creator when they are selling your designs. I sent a message asking the seller about adding something to her listing that gives credit to the original creator but she just blew me off and acted like because she is supposedly a legally blind veteran teaching herself to copy designs from pinterst that it's okay. I really hope that you report her as I am going to do. You would think that if she is really a veteran that she would believe in doing the right thing. Her listing is at https://www.etsy.com/listing/775012093/30-off-entire-store-super-duo-earrings?ref=shop_home_active_88&frs=1 Normally I wouldn't post the address because I don't want her to the possible get traffic, but I hope that others will see this and report her shop. She doesn't credit anyone and she has 194 listings. The beading/crafting community is getting so bad with people taking others hard work as their own. How hard is it to add a few words letting people know they appreciate the designer for sharing their work? There are plenty of people that will still purchase the items if they like them. Yeesh

    1. Hi Shannon. I'm not too bothered about it. Also, her earrings look more like Beth Clark's original earring design and not so much like my adaptation.

  9. I'm not sure if you are still having this issue but if you try right clicking on the link and go to Save Link As you should have a download window pop up. You most likely have a pop up blocker that's keeping the window from opening. The steps I suggested bypass any pop up blocker.

  10. She actually has a few different listings for similar earrings. I am sure that her products are mostly copied from other people, but she never mentions that in any of the listings. It bothers me when people do this. It's so easy to add a few words to show appreciation. Then on top of doing that she tells me she is supposedly a legally blind veteran like that's some sort of pass for stealing designs and acting like they are her own.
