This bracelet was a Christmas present for my friend, Teejay. I got the inspiration for the design from a photo that I saw in the SpinPlanet Etsy shop, HERE. The shop owner sells ready-to-wear jewelry. So, there's no pattern available but it wasn't difficult to figure it out. I love this unusual color combination as well as the feel of the bracelet. I will definitely make more of these when I have a chance.
UPDATE: The pattern is now available on Etsy HERE.
Hi Linda, Happy New Year to you! Every day I am waiting impatiently to see what you’ve created lately. This bracelet is absolutely beautiful! Matching earrings should look very nice as well.
ReplyDeleteBest, Raisa
Happy New Year, Raisa. I was very pleased with the way this bracelet turned out but I haven't tried making matching earrings for it.
DeleteWould it be difficult to make a pattern for this bracelet? I can't do anything without one. It is beautiful,Linda. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteIt probably wouldn't be too difficult but I wouldn't be able to post it here on my blog. It's not my own creation so it wouldn't be right for me to give away the pattern. What you could do is email the woman who is selling the bracelet on Etsy and see if you can talk her into putting up the pattern for sale.
DeleteHappy New Year Linda. The colors in this beautiful bracelet are eye catching, but then you never disappoint. Much continued success in 2016.

Thanks, Paula. I hope you get to do a lot of beading this year.
DeleteThis bracelet is even more stunning in real life...it is beautiful. T.x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you like it, Teejay. I know how much you like daisies so I thought of you as soon as I saw that bracelet on Pinterest.
DeleteThanks for crediting my Etsy shop! Your designs have often inspired my own beadwork. I love superduos and am constantly looking for new ways to use them. Beautiful bracelet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a pretty design idea.
DeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThis bracelet is just gorgeous! But as beautiful as this bracelet is, I'm afraid most of us aren't able to figure out how to make it on our own. Any chance of you posting a simple pattern for us to follow? It would be much appreciated!
I'd love to but I can't because it's not my own design. Sorry.
DeleteHappy New Year Linda. This bracelet is adorable. I'm hoping that I can figure it out!! I'm wishing you a blessed year. Love your blog I look for each day. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patty. Unfortunately, I didn't write down how I made this bracelet and it's the only one that I've made. Hopefully I will be able to figure it out again and take notes next time. I'm usually pretty good about doing that but sometimes I get lazy. I recall that the only sort of tricky thing about making it was adding on the daisies without making them separately.
DeleteWhat a lovely bracelet! A very happy New year, Linda!
ReplyDeleteAnd to you too!
DeleteI'm not real good at figuring out patterns and since there's no pattern for me to purchase can you tell me if you used one needle or two. Thank you
ReplyDeleteShuga217@gmail.com
I used one needle, Patty. I'm pretty sure that I started by making one of the daisies then I added the other motifs on either side of it. I could kick myself for not taking notes but having to write down every step as I make something kind of takes the fun out of it. Of course now I regret that I didn't.
DeleteLinda - To save you time could you post a very simple thread path for your version of this bracelet rather than a full tutorial? I'm sure we would all be more than willing to compensate you for your time via a donation. Thanks so much.
DeleteI'll have to try to remember how I made it first.
DeleteThis afternoon I figured out how to make this bracelet again and I've written down everything. However, there is one part that I'm almost positive I did differently when making the daisies in Teejay's bracelet. The way I made them today makes it hard to get my needle between the inner ring of the Superduos as many times as I need to and I don't remember having that problem when I made Teejay's bracelet. I need to try another method and see if it jogs my memory.
DeleteI forgot to mention that the instructions might be too complicated to show with just a thread path diagram. There's a lot of going around and back through part of the previous motif because I make the bracelet in one continuous process instead of connecting individual motifs.
DeleteThanks Linda. We're all waiting with bated breath!
DeleteI've figured out what I did when I made Teejay's bracelet. However, I don't know how I can post the instructions without infringing on SpinPlanet's copyright.
DeleteLinda, I just LOVE this pattern and the colors you chose! Please let us know if SpinPlanet puts a tutorial up for sale. I would buy it in a heartbeat! I love all your work!
DeleteHopefully Marcie will see these comments and realize how eagerly everyone is awaiting her pattern.
