Lizbeth Band & Petites Fleurs Earrings Set - Ivory & Gold

LIZBETH BAND
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • SuperDuo beads "Pastel Light Cream/Off White"
  • 3mm pearls "Off White" (Chinese)

I made one last "Lizbeth Band" colorway and I had three earring patterns to choose from to go with it. All three called for beads similar to those in the bracelet. All three designs are very pretty but in the end I went with Deborah Roberti's "Petites Fleurs Earrings". Although I like the other two designs, both patterns had issues that would need to be addressed before I'd be happy with them. They also both called for 4mm pearls instead of 3mm like in the bracelet. Deb's earrings call for 3mm round beads and as with all of Deb's patterns they came out neat and were easily made. You can buy her pattern, which also comes with a bracelet pattern, HERE on Etsy or HERE at Around the Beading Table.

PETITES FLEURS EARRINGS
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • SuperDuo beads "Pastel Light Cream/Off White"
  • 3mm pearls "Off White" (Chinese)

I did make sample earrings with the other two patterns and I thought you might like to see how they turned out. Both are free patterns.

TWIN FLORET EARRINGS
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • SuperDuo beads "Pastel Light Cream/Off White"
  • 4mm pearls "Off White" (Chinese)

You'll find the free "Twin Floret Earrings" pattern HERE at BeadDiagrams.com. My first sample came out kind of wonky because I probably made a mistake at some point but it was my first time trying the pattern. The second one with the earring wire on it came out nice. I used black thread to make my sample earrings but I used gold KO brand thread to make the bracelet and the "Petites Fleurs" earrings so that the thread wouldn't show. I didn't want to use white FireLine because I hate how white thread shows so horribly between the beads. The gold thread is completely invisible because it matches the seed beads that I used.

LACE PEARL EARRINGS
  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Gold" (4202)
  • SuperDuo beads "Pastel Light Cream/Off White"
  • 4mm pearls "Off White" (Chinese)

I found the free "Lace Pearl Earrings" pattern HERE on the UnMondoSuper blog. The blog is in Italian and you need to click just below the earring photo where it says "Qui il tutorial FREE". The link will take you to the PDF file on her Google drive. The earrings that I made with her pattern came out very pretty but there is a mistake in the pattern and I had to figure out a way to fix it. The pattern doesn't show when to add the three SuperDuos at the bottom point of the earring. Well, it does show when to add the last one in the center at the very bottom but not the other two of the trio. I later worked out that they should be added when you weave back around the earring in Step 4.

UPDATE 7/16/18: Rosina has posted an updated version of her "Lace Pearl Earrings" HERE. I haven't looked at it yet but she says that it now has full instructions and new diagrams.
