My Bead Color Wishlist

Lately I've been thinking about some bead colors that I wish they would make. I'm sure that there are more that I'd like than the colors above but you get the idea. It seems to be mainly blues and shades of rose colors that are rare and hard to find. I think that all of these colors would make wonderful opaque solid color beads if they gave them a glossy luster coating.

  1. I agree!!! Maybe Santa will put word in with the bead manufacturing companies. Your color choices are stunning. I too would love a better selection of blue and rose shades.Ann

    1. I would love to have those colors in druks, SuperDuos, Silky beads, fire polished beads. While they're at it, they can create the same colors but either a bit lighter or a bit darker so that they'll go together. Heck, they might as well make each color in light, medium and dark shades.

    2. And/or, make matte and luster versions of some of the colors.

    3. The matte colors might be nice if they were somewhat of translucent or frosted. I love the look of glossy and matte beads together.

  4. A lot of these remind me of Swarovski pearl colours, but of course they've become more and more expensive lately. If the Czech bead manufacturers could get together and co-ordinate their colours with Swarovski, wouldn't it be like Christmas for us? !!!

    1. I've also seen a lot of pretty opaque and translucent and milky colors in Chinese rondelles that I've never seen in Czech glass.

    3. Ann, are you sure that the URL is correct? It doesn't take me to a website.

  5. I also would like more choices especially in the superduos. They seem to pick and choose what colors to put with what style of bead without giving thought to what the beader would really want.

  6. I agree. It would be nice to have more bright colors we could add to our bead stashes. The brightest fire polish beads I have are the hyacinth orange (and it is really orange). One nice color I have discovered recently is Sandalwood Halo in fire polish. But you are right, when I look at all my beads that are grouped together by type, they are all pretty subdued hues. Maybe we should start a petition (request)?

    1. I had my eye on the Halo Sandalwood this morning but I wasn't sure if it would go with any of my clothes.

They have come out with a lot of new bright colors recently in "opal" and "pearl" finishes but the colors are a little TOO bright and too "primary" for my taste. I lean toward more "dusty" colors rather than pastels or primary colors.
