Petite Paisley Earrings

  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • ZoliDuo beads "Lazure Blue"

"Petite Paisley Earrings" is a new free pattern from Deb Roberti that you can download HERE on her website. The pattern calls for Paisley Duo or ZoliDuos beads. I only have ZoliDuos and I only  had enough of three colors to make these three colorways.

  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4201)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4201)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4201)
  • ZoliDuo beads "Alabaster Mint Luster"
  • 3mm druks "Laurel Green"

I made the two sample earrings above first to try out the pattern. The earring on the left in the photo was made according to the pattern with some seed beads and a 3mm druk between the earring and the wire at the top. While I like that idea, I decided to keep mine simple so I added an 8/0 seed bead between the two 11/0s at the top to attach a jump ring for the wire on the earring on the right. I also used this method to make the other two colorways. When you download the pattern, you will see that Deb has included instructions for my method of attaching the jump rings.

  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Nickel Plated" (190)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Nickel Plated" (190)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Nickel Plated" (190)
  • ZoliDuo beads "Alabaster Lila Vega Luster"

  1. You haven't posted in a very long time. Are you are alright?
I hope you are just busy with Christmas preparations.
    Best wishes from Austria!

    1. Hi Yersinia. I'm fine. Thanks for asking. I've just been very busy and haven't had much time for beading. I had to move my beading stuff out to the garage for about a week last month and then we were out of town for nearly a week at Thanksgiving. It's just one thing after another keeping me from my beads. I'm done with my Christmas beading so I should have a little time for some fun beading before I have to move my stuff back out to the garage for Christmas.

    2. I'm so glad to hear, thank you for the update!
And I know how it is, sometimes life just keeps interfering.
I haven't beaded for about a week now, after having been busy with preparing everything for my booth at an Advent fair.
Now that that's done, I could go back to fun beading, but... yeah... :D
