BUTTERCUP BRACELET
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4222)
- 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4222)
- MiniDuo beads "Jet Silver Paste Matte"
- 3mm Czech pearls "Deep Lilac Satin"
- 6mm druks "Milky Alexandrite Moon Dust"
On a whim, I tried something different with the "Buttercup" pattern. Instead of regular SuperDuos, 8mm druks and 4mm druks, I switched to MiniDuos, 6mm and 3mm druks. As you can see, that worked beautifully. This version came out about 5/8-inch wide. Below you can see one of the regular size bracelets next to the mini version. I was able to use Miyuki seed beads to make this bracelet. I haven't tried using Toho seed beads so I don't know if they will work well.
I also made this little sample of the mini version in another colorway:
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Metallic Chocolate" (461)
- MiniDuo beads "Opaque Green Luster"
- 3mm stone beads "Howlite" (Chinese)
- 6mm druks "Brown Caramel Picasso"
