MINGLES TWEAK #2
- 11/0 Miyuki Duracoat Galvanized "Light Pewter" seed beads (4221)
- 15/0 Miyuki Duracoat Galvanized "Light Pewter" seed beads (4221)
- 4mm fire polished beads "Sapphire Celsian"
- Clasp
Today's bracelet is my variation of Sabine Lippert's free "Mingles" pattern. I've changed so many things that it's hardly recognizable as "Mingles" anymore.
These are the earrings that I'm wearing today. They were about $2.00 at Walmart.
I love Sabine's designs, but I do really love your variation of her Mingles pattern and would love to make one for myself. Very nice!!
ReplyDeleteCould I have the mingles tweak #2 pattern somehow? Love it. Thank you, Eva
ReplyDeleteI don't have a pattern typed up that I can post. Maybe I will do that one day when I have the time.
DeleteYes I would lie it too?
DeleteThank you for sharing this pattern! Love it.
ReplyDeleteLInda - I'm having a lot of difficulty finding the exact beads mentioned in your patterns. Is there an online source you purchase from?
ReplyDeleteBead manufacturers are always changing the colors that they make. So, the best you can do is to see what's available at the time where you shop. I get a lot of my fire polished beads from Aura Crystals and most of my "metal" seed beads are from Charlene's Beads.
DeleteI just want to add that there is a long list of bead shops on the right hand side of my blog. You'll see them if you scroll down to the bottom of the page to Beadwork & Supplies.
DeleteYou may have been inspired by the mingles design but what you have now created is your own design and pattern. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteDid you ever type a pattern for the bracelet?
DeleteOnly for my own use, Deb. I suppose you're right though. Maybe I'll make a pattern and come up with a different name for it. It really doesn't look much like the original "Mingles" even though it was inspired by it.
DeleteThis is so nice!
ReplyDeleteLove it where do I get this pattern.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't one yet.
DeleteHi Do you buy your beads from a certain company? Cant seem to find them. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI buy my beads from a lot of different places. I shop around to find the best prices on them. I usually buy the Duracoat seed beads from Charlene's Beads. You'll find them on THIS page. They also have that color at Aura Crystals. Aura Crystals has the fire polished beads that I used HERE
DeleteHow do I get to know how to do that?
ReplyDeleteSorry but I don't understand your question.
