If you're familiar with BeeJang's beadwork you'll know that she likes to use lots of bright colors. To see what I mean, take a look at her Etsy shop HERE. I think her work is beautiful even if the colors she uses are brighter than I usually work with. A while back, Claire from Supply Emporium sent me some VERY bright SuperDuos and challenged me to step out of my color comfort zone and use them to make BeeJang's "Ayesha Bracelet" pattern which you can buy HERE. It's a very pretty design but I'm not keen on this colorway. In any case, this one came out much too long for me so maybe I'll make another one using some of "my" colors.

This bracelet is surprisingly heavy and I wonder if the "Metalust" finish on the SuperDuos is the cause. I was worried that a magnet clasp might not be secure enough so I used a toggle clasp instead. Today's bracelet is an inch wide, has 12 motifs and measures 8 inches long including the clasp. This will fit a 7-inch wrist. I'm pretty sure that 11 motifs will fit my 6-inch wrist.
NEW BRACELET PATTERN COMING SOON...
It may be a while before I post again. Teejay and I are working like mad on a new bracelet pattern for you and I'm not sure how long it will take. Please be patient. I think it will be worth the wait.

- 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads "Duracoat Galvanized Pewter" (DB1852)
- 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads "Matte Opaque Blue Grey" (DB792)
- 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads "Metallic Matte Golden Olive" (DB371)
- 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads "Matte Bone Glazed Luster" (DB388)
This is a design of my own creation. First I made a sample in a colorway similar to the chart below. I decided that there isn't enough contrast between the blue and green so I made another sample with the ivory and green switched around. I'm not crazy about either one but I thought someone might like the design so I'm posting the color chart as well as a link to download the instructions for following the chart.

Watch Jill Wiseman's YouTube video tutorial HERE and download her free PDF HERE. You can buy Delica beads at Red Panda, Aura Crystals, Supply Emporium and Baubles & Beads.

I showed you a sample earring in this colorway in THIS post and I finally got around to making the mate to it the other day.
I want to show you something cool that Teejay sent me for Christmas a few years ago. It's called Little Book of Earrings and it's ideal for storing these fringe earrings. It will hold 32 pairs of these earrings if I store them on both sides of each "page". I currently have eleven pairs so I've got plenty of room for more. Visit THIS website for more information about them. Unfortunately, it looks like they're only available in the UK.
Here is how the earring book looks with my fringe earrings inside:
- 8/0 seed beads Toho "Nickel Plated" (711)
- 11/0 Delica beads "Galvanized Semi-Matte Graphite Grey" (DB1186)
- 11/0 Delica beads "Opaque Matte Black" (DB310)
- 11/0 Delica beads "Duracoat Opaque Spruce" (DB2127)
- 11/0 Delica beads "Opaque Dyed Navy" (DB2143)
I blogged HERE about trying to come up with some fringe earrings to go with the top below. The Delicas that I mentioned ordering turned out to be very close to the green in my top so I revised the color chart and made today's earrings.
