Arabesco Earrings - Rose Luster

ARABESCO EARRINGS

  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Light Bronze" (457L)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Light Bronze" (457L)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Light Bronze" (457L)
  • Paisley Duo beads "Chalk Gold Luster"
  • 4mm fire polished beads "Luster Rose Gold Topaz"
  • 4mm fire polished beads "Lazura Orange"

Although I have Paisley Duo and ZoliDuo beads in several colors, I don't have enough of any of the colors to make bracelets. So, when Deb released her "Arabesco" pendant and earrings pattern the other day, I thought they were a great way to use up some of my stash. You can buy Deb's pattern HERE. She also has a matching "Arabesque Bracelet" pattern HERE.

  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Light Pewter" (4221)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Light Pewter" (4221)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Light Pewter" (4221)
  • ZoliDuo beads "Alabaster Mint Luster"
  • 3mm druk beads "Laurel Green"
  • 4mm druk beads "Chalk White Mint Luster"
  • 4mm fire polished beads "Crystal Sea Foam Metallic Ice"

Round druk beads aren't recommended for this pattern but I really wanted to try this mint green colorway and I don't have this color in fire polished beads. I had to tweak the number of seed beads that I used and the result may look fine in the photos but it's a little wonky. Because it's so pretty, I wanted to show this sample earring to you anyway. The fire polished beads look silver in the photos but they're actually pale metallic green on one side and transparent green on the other as you can see below. Aura Crystals has them HERE with a different color name.

  1. I fell for some of the color suggestions for this bracelet pattern from Red Panda Beads; they will be delivered today...

    1. It's a fun and easy pattern to make. I have a couple more colorways to make when I get a chance.
