MYSTERY SUPERDUO BRACELET
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4222)
- 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4222)
- SuperDuo beads "Rembrandt Matte Sapphire"
For this set I used another one of the new Rembrandt SuperDuo colors called "Matte Sapphire". To me they look more like teal or steel blue/gray and the color goes very well with these pewter seed beads. I should mention that these SuperDuos are actually transparent even though the bracelet appears to be opaque while wearing it. Having said that, the transparency might be a factor if you use them to make earrings. If you have very short hair, the light might show through the beads and give the earrings an odd appearance. I have long dark hair so that's not an issue for me.
WAVE OF LOVE EARRING
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4222)
- 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Duracoat Pewter" (4222)
- SuperDuo beads "Rembrandt Matte Sapphire"
I thought that I might make a pair of "Wave of Love" earrings so I made the sample above to see if I liked it. I decided that I didn't care for this design with these variegated beads so I made a pair of "Corundum Earrings" instead.
The free tutorial for Pascale G-Mikovic's "Mystery SuperDuo Bracelet" is HERE on my blog. You can either watch Kelly Dale's free YouTube tutorial for the "Corundum Earrings" HERE or buy the pattern HERE in her Etsy shop. The free "Wave of Love" pattern is posted HERE. You'll find these Rembrandt SuperDuo beads HERE at Supply Emporium.

SUBSCRIBERS TO THIS BLOG:
I subscribe to this blog as well as my tangle blog so that I can make sure that the emails are sent as they should be. I realized last night that I never got the emails for yesterday's posts from either of my blogs. Did anyone else not get an email about Thursday's post? I haven't changed anything in my blog settings and everything looks as it should be. Maybe they're just running late because of Valentine's Day.
Just when I thought I had plenty of SuperDuos you had to show me these. Definitely going to order them.
ReplyDeleteYou can never have too many SuperDuo colors.
DeleteAlready ordered them and another color.
ReplyDeleteGood for you.
DeleteThank you so much for such beautiful patterns.
ReplyDeleteHow can I subscribe to your blog. I see you on Pinterest at times but I would love to see more.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Blogger no longer has a subscription feature. Sorry.
DeleteYour “Mystery Bracelet” is the exact pattern as done by Stephanie at Bronze Pony jewelry. Hmmmm ???? She calls it her Cobble Stone series. So this is probably where you have seen it and used it as your own? Curious
ReplyDeleteThe end result does look pretty much the same but I watched Stephanie's video a while ago and she uses a different method to make hers. Pascale posted her pattern many years before Stephanie posted her video. It isn't my design but Pascale gave me permission to post the instructions here on my blog. JRPDesigns also posted a video a couple years ago that looks the same. Her video is posted HERE.
DeleteCanalcraft Beading also posted a video six years ago for the same design HERE
