I decided to make one more bracelet using the blue Wheel beads. I made a point of not using any silver or purple in this one like I did with the other two bracelets with the blue Wheels. This colorway is a little monochrome but I think it's a cute bracelet. Read my first post about this pattern HERE. Since making this bracelet, I got some Wheel beads in a few more colors so I will make some more sometime.

This really is the last of the Wheely bracelets for now and I don't have anything else ready to blog about at this time. It's time for me to crack down on my Christmas beading projects and not come up for air until they're done. I've got six more bracelets to make, a few calendars and Christmas cards to print and then I'll do some Christmas baking after Thanksgiving. Once all that is done, I'm hoping there will be some time left before Christmas to play with my beads and make something just for fun.

TARA BRACELET MOTIF UPDATE
I was asked the other day in the comments below THIS post if I thought SuperDuos would work instead of MiniDuos to make the Tara Motif earrings/bracelet. I went ahead and tried it and they do seem to work pretty well with a little tweaking. Obviously the motif comes out a bit larger too. In the photo below you can see the two SuperDuo sample motifs that I made next to an earring that I'd made with MiniDuos.
In steps 16 and 17 of the tutorial, I had to add three seed beads in each spot instead of two. For the final steps I tried two different things with these two samples. In one of them (the one on the right in the photo) I used 15/0 seed beads around the points as directed. In the other sample (the one on the left in the photo), I used all 11/0 beads and used just three around the points instead of the four 15/0 beads called for. I think that the all 11/0 version looks slightly better with the larger "duos" because the larger beads cover the corners a little better.
There was just one other minor issue when using SuperDuos instead of MiniDuos. Putting two SuperDuo layers back to back is thicker than the length of the Rulla beads so they stick out past the ends of the Rullas. That's not really a big deal though. The motif just looks a little more puffy.
I got to use some of the new Rulla colors that I got recently to make these sample and I really like both of these colorways:

FAR LEFT SAMPLE:
- 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
- Rulla beads "Pastel Bordeaux"
- SuperDuo beads "Purple Iris Matte"
FAR RIGHT SAMPLE:
- 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
- 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
- Rulla beads "Opaque Violet White Luster"
- SuperDuo beads "Pink Luster Turquoise"

This adorable bracelet design is by Carole Ohl and you can buy the pattern for just $4.00 in her Etsy shop HERE. As Carole mentions in her pattern description, this is a quick and easy bracelet to make. I made five of these cute bracelets in a variety of colorways in just a few hours the other day.
Note that the bead amounts listed on the pattern will make a bracelet that will fit a 6-inch wrist size. It fits me perfectly with five motifs and a slightly different clasp loop than Carole makes. You will probably need to make at least six or seven motifs to fit a 7 or 8 inch wrist size. I have two colors of Wheel beads and they came in 10 gram tubes (about 80 beads). That should be enough to make about three of these bracelets depending on the size. I got three 5-motif bracelets out of the ten grams with 22 Wheels left over. So, I have enough to make one more bracelet in each color in my size.

I found this blue luster color a little challenging to work with as far as finding other beads to go with it. Luckily I had these fire polished beads in the same color and dye lot. I got them from SupplyEmporium on Etsy (see the link below). I just checked and Claire still has a few in stock.
This is a comfortable bracelet to wear. Because of the thickness of the beads, it almost feels like a bangle bracelet. I will be blogging about the other four bracelets over the next four days.
I don't think that the 6mm Czech Wheel beads are widely available. I only have them in two colors and I got them from Supply Emporium on Etsy, HERE. Red Panda also has them in quite a few colors HERE. You will also need quite a few O-Beads to make this bracelet and Supply Emporium has a nice color assortment of those too. If you spend at least $30 in Claire's Etsy shop, use the coupon code "15BLOG" to get 15% off your order. I will compile a list of sources for Wheel beads and will post it on my blog soon.
