I almost always include metallics in my beadwork even if it's just a few accent beads.lindalowcarbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594808847717258786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2006131256529451628.post-39322729165906528182019-04-01T22:07:23.655-05:002019-04-01T22:07:23.655-05:00I agree with you on the matte cabs. But I still have to use metallic seed beads or they just don't seem like "real jewelry" to me. LOL!

B.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2006131256529451628.post-91647436461109890972019-04-01T17:32:10.844-05:002019-04-01T17:32:10.844-05:00Metallic Chocolate was my second choice. I also have some shiny metallic brown cabs but I thought that the matte ones went better with the matte Kite beads.lindalowcarbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594808847717258786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2006131256529451628.post-53626257987878695432019-04-01T17:19:30.562-05:002019-04-01T17:19:30.562-05:00I was leaning toward Miyuki metallic chocolate, ma...I was leaning toward Miyuki metallic chocolate, maaaaayybe with a matte turquoise seed bead accent. I won't know until I see samples worked up. I must say, the black bronze seed beads are quite stunning. And since the cabochons I planned to use turned out to be candy beads instead, I might have to get some additional beads to justify shipping charges on the cabs I now have to order...

Cheers!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2006131256529451628.post-24145799734123765912019-03-30T17:20:22.201-05:002019-03-30T17:20:22.201-05:00I'm glad that you were able to get some before...I'm glad that you were able to get some before they sold out. I had the same bracelet in mind for it too. Ordered some seed beads from another source to audition colorways with it but got sidetracked there and didn't get back to QCB to buy these (I'm so easily distracted by "anything shiny", and that goes double for beads, shiny or not). Was afraid they were sold out when they weren't still in my cart when I got back to it just now but she had a few left (although not as many as there were people who had them in their carts - probably because of this posting). I made a quick trip through my favorite categories and checked out with these and some other beauties from QCB.

Thanks for sharing a beautiful piece and jogging my memory.

Barbara H.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2006131256529451628.post-24006530603197459072019-03-30T10:20:18.408-05:002019-03-30T10:20:18.408-05:00Love this bracelet.
