This is the first of five pairs of "Bethany Earrings" that I've made to go with five "Duo Kheops" bracelets. The earrings are my variation of Beth Clark's free "Beth Duo Earrings" pattern which you can download HERE. The bracelet pattern is from Marina Beads on Etsy and you can buy it HERE. You can read my previous post about this bracelet HERE.

Someone asked me a couple days ago if Teejay's "Silky Half Tila Bracelet" design, which I blogged about HERE, would work with CzechMates Bricks. I gave them a try and they do work pretty well and so do Rulla beads. I prefer Half Tilas with this design but these are also nice for a different kind of look. I like the two samples with opaque beads better than the one with the transparent beads. By the way, this bracelet design now has a name. It will be called "Lucy Bracelet" when the pattern is released.

Below are the beads that I used in these three samples:

TOP SAMPLE:

  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457D)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457D)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457D)
  • Silky beads "Rosaline Picasso"
  • CzechMates Bricks "Transparent Gold Smoky Topaz"
  • 4mm druks "Beige Luster Picasso" (from a color mix)

  • Silky beads "Opaque Green Turquoise Picasso"
  • Rulla beads "Turquoise Picasso"

  1. The use of the rullas and bar beads really changes the look but I think I prefer the smaller half tila beads as well. The color combos are pretty Ann

    1. To me, the Half Tila beads are just the right scale to go with the Silkies. The Rullas and Bricks are a little too big unless you like the chunky look.
