Pewter & Blue Duo Bobble Band Set

This bracelet was a special order for Christmas but I've blogged about it before, HERE. The only thing that I did differently this time was the way that I attached the clasp. I also made a pair of my variation of Nunzia's "Easy Earrings" earrings to go with this bracelet.

There currently is no pattern available for the bracelet but I'm hoping to make one early next year. To make the earrings, you can watch Nunzia's free YouTube video tutorial HERE. I've blogged about the earrings quite a few times. You can find some of my previous posts by doing a search of my blog for "Easy Earrings". The search box is on the right side of the page just below the email form.

UPDATE 1/24/18: A free pattern is now available and the new name for this pattern is "Lizbeth Band". Visit THIS post to download the free pattern.

  1. Chinarovski comes up when I search "Chinavoski"crystals. Please advise where you find these blue green ab beads. Thanks so much. RuthAnn

    1. I think that most local bead shops sell a selection of Chinese crystals such as these but I rarely see them for sale online. Maybe I just don't know where to look though. The shop where I bought these bluish green beads never seems to have the same colors the next time I go there. All the more reason to grab the pretty ones when I see them and then choose just the right patterns to use them with.

Although they don't have this exact color, I noticed recently that Aura Crystals has a small selection of Chinese crystals and they do have 4mm (actually 3x4mm) rondelles HERE.

  2. You really MUST do a tutorial, even a simple one with the thread path,Linda. And charge for it. I would pay! I hope you do!

  5. Hello! I have 3mm and 4mm druks and fire polished beads but no rondelles. Would I be able to substitute a rondelle for druk/fire polished bead? If so, would I want a 3mm or a 4mm? Also is there an estimate on how many beads (not seed beads) are used in the earrings? In the bracelet? Please let me know! Thank you so much! Orin

    1. Hi Orin. If you haven't already downloaded the "Lizbeth Band" pattern, you'll find it in THIS post. On the first page of the pattern, you'll find a chart that lists approximately how many SuperDuos and druks you'll need for various wrist sizes. The patterns works best with rondelles or 3mm druks but I did successfully use some 3mm fire polished beads to make the bracelet that I blogged about HERE. You'll need 34 rondelles to make the "Easy Earrings" as shown in this post. I only made the top part of the earrings here.
