Mystery SuperDuo Bracelet Set - Turquoise & Silver

You can read about this bracelet pattern HERE, HERE and HERE. To complete this set, I made two pairs of matching earrings. The free pattern for the "SuperDuo Flower Chain Earrings" can be downloaded from THIS post. The "Bethany Earrings" are my adaptation of Beth Clark's "Beth Duo Earrings" pattern, which you can buy HERE.

  1. I started this mystery bracelet this week and it is sooooo nice. It's much better "in person." I wanted 3 rows but I decided to take it apart because my thread broke at the clasp and also got very weak at other places so to be safe I started over. I usually give my creations to my Daughter-in-law and if it broke when she was a work then I would be very embarrassed. I have nothing better to do HA Ha

    1. Do you know what caused your thread to break? I've never had that happen. What kind of thread were you using?

    2. I used FireLine to make this bracelet just to be safe.

  2. I always use 6lb. fireline.I think I went through the middle of the fireline when I did another pass and the thread got knotted and I pulled too hard and stripped the thread. Inexperienced still but in time I will avoid this. I'm always in a hurry to get to the next project. Ha Ha. I wax my thread often but still get knots. Maybe shorter length of fireline would help me but I hate adding thread. I'm always afraid I won't get everything secure.

    1. FireLine can be a real pain in the behind when it gets tangled or knotted.

    1. The designer of this pattern originally posted a very sketchy photo diagram that only showed how to do the basic stitch and I don't know where to find it any longer. Deborah Roberti got permission from her for me to post more detailed steps. You can see my tutorial in THIS post.
