Playing with my beads...More "Noah" Earrings

I made three more samples last night and I love all three of them. I don't have any bicones that match the lilac rondelles so I used some smaller rondelles in the same color instead. I don't like the shape quite as well as bicones but I think they look fine.

The free earring pattern is from Elfenatelier and you can download it HERE.

  2. I noticed that you use Miyuki dark bronze 11-457d beads in a lot of your samples. I am having a hard time finding these so that my bead group can make your stackers bracelet. Can you please share where you found these beads?

    1. Yes, that's my "go to" metal color for most projects. I used to buy 28 gram tubes of that color in a local shop and paid about $15. Then, I discovered Charlene's Beads. She sells them in 28 gram tubes for $5.00 (11/0 and 8/0) and $7.00 for 15/0's. Here's the link: http://www.cbbeads.com/metallic.htm

  3. Hi Linda, I would like to join your pinterest board. My username is jstrand66. I was able to get the bronze beads (and many others) through cbbeads. Thanks again for sharing the source. I let Charlene know that you did so. My beading group also finished the tweaked stackers bracelet. I made mine with a super duo beaded bead for the closure. I look forward to sharing the pics on your pinterest board.
    Happy Beading, Jennifer

    1. Hi Jennifer. I need your email address in order to invite you to the Pinterest board. For some reason Pinterest never accepts usernames anymore.

    1. Yeah, I noticed the other day that they've redone their site and moved things around. I've got a good link and will fix it. Thanks for reminding me.

  5. How do you measure the rondelles . 6mm. when I attempt to purchase rondelles online I have the option of 2 #'s no just 1. do I go with the first number or the second number to know that it will be a 6mm for the Noah earrings?

    1. Good question. I'm pretty sure that when there is only one number listed, it's referring to the diameter. At least that's the case at the store where I buy Chinese rondelles. They only give one number and it is the diameter. The smaller number would be the thickness. So, if there are two numbers given, the larger number is the important number. The 6mm rondelles that I used in the Noah Earrings are 6x4mm.
